  • SEC Denies New Crypto Rules Petition

  • China Pushes Crypto Regulation

A move by the People’s Bank of China in its recent report has called for global regulations to be implemented for crypto and DeFi.

  • Germany Focuses on Crypto Securities 

Following the introduction of the Act on Financing of the Future, Germany is set to permit the creation of crypto shares.

  • Russia Seeks Cross-Border Crypto

Russia is set to legalize cross-border crypto transactions as early as Spring 2024 which would come alongside regulations, and penalties for illicit uses.

  • El Salvador Regulates Bitcoin Bonds

Approval for Bitcoin bonds has been given by El Salvaor’s Digital Assets Commission (CNAD) and the first are due to be issued in Q1 2024.
