Join us as we sit down and have a chat with one of the Blockpass team to find out about them, their work, and their thoughts on blockchain technology.
Where are you from and where do you live now?
I’m from Vietnam and I’m living in Ho Chi Minh city now.
What is your work background and how did you first get involved in Blockpass?
I graduated 4 months ago; I did some part-time work during my time at university and I was a trainee working as a recruiter in an interior company for 2 months before working at Blockpass.
Thanks to an introduction about the job from my friend, I first became aware of Blockpass and then applied for Compliance Administrator.
What is your role at Blockpass and what does a typical day look like?
I monitor daily eKYC, communicate and support the clients in dealing with their issues and also perform corporate scans if needed. I start working at 9:00AM and then check to see if there are any new cases to deal with. I also check new messages in Telegram web to support clients. Moreover, I monitor FaceMatch and deal with any unresolved issues. At 04:00PM, I join in the daily stand-up meeting to report the status of my tasks.
What is something you’ve been proud of whilst working at Blockpass?
I’m proud to be part of Blockpass’ working environment - it’s really good! Blockpass gave me a great chance to work here and everyone, especially Adam and Thomas, have helped me a lot during my working period - which is sometimes hard to find in other companies.
What do you think blockchain or crypto’s biggest potential is?
The blockchain can be widely used in many fields. For example: KYC!
Where do you see the industry headed over the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I think there will be more applications that are involved in Blockchain, so the market will be more active.
Which hobby or activity are you particularly enjoying at the moment and why?
I often go to the coffee shop with my friends when I have free time and I’m learning to swim to stay healthy. I’m also thinking about learning to take and edit photos.
If you could spend a day with anyone, real or fictional, who would it be and why?
Of course my parents because they are living in my hometown and I’m working in another city, so I try to meet them several times per year.
